Keystone — Account & Data Deletion
At Keystone, your data belongs to you. You can delete your account and related data at any time, directly within the app.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Keystone app.
- Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice.
Once confirmed, your request is processed automatically and your account enters deletion.
What Happens After Deletion
When you delete your account:
- Cloud backup and sync data: Permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Subscription status: Deleting your Keystone account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it directly in your Google Play or App Store account settings to stop future billing.
- Local app data on your device: You can delete this immediately by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
- Support communications: Deleted upon request, otherwise retained only as long as necessary for customer service.
- Payment records: Retained only as required by law (e.g., for tax and audit purposes), and not linked to your account.
Data Retention Policy
- Subscription cancellation: If you cancel your subscription, your account is downgraded to a standard (free) user. You can continue using the app and syncing your data; however, sync operations will consume Momentum (in-app currency). Your cloud backup and account data remain intact as long as your account is active. Cloud-stored data may only be queued for deletion after 1 year of continuous account inactivity — meaning you have not signed in or used the app for 12 consecutive months.
- Legal obligations: Certain transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations. These are stored securely and cannot be used to personally identify you.
